Our Statement on the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus
Providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, volunteers, and employees is always a priority for us at the ICR Discovery Center, and we are closely monitoring the current situation with the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. On top of our usual cleaning procedures, we’re taking extra measures to keep our facility a safe and healthy environment. This includes multiple daily cleanings of all kiosks, door handles, rails, restrooms, 3D glasses, and commonly touched surfaces, and paying extra attention to high traffic areas. CDC-approved disinfectants and cleaning agents are used to thoroughly sanitize all of these surfaces and items.
We encourage all employees, volunteers, and guests to use common sense practices to maintain a healthy environment, such as washing hands regularly, using hand sanitizer, and staying home if they are sick.
Due to public health recommendations regarding the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus situation, the ICR Discovery Center for Science & Earth History will be closed Monday, March 16–Wednesday, April 29.
This closure may be extended if necessary, so please check this page for updates. You can also reach us by phone Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., at 800.743.6374.
Thank you for your understanding. We continue to pray for all who are impacted by this situation and look forward to seeing you here when the Discovery Center reopens.
Rest assured, any tickets purchased for a day that is part of the closure are fully refundable. You can send us an email at email@example.com or call 800.743.6374, and we will take care of it. For answers to other frequently asked questions about the Discovery Center, click here.
