Our Statement on the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus

Providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, volunteers, and employees is always a priority for us at the ICR Discovery Center. Rest assured we are closely monitoring the current situation with COVID-19 and taking appropriate actions based on the most up-to-date information available.

On top of our usual cleaning procedures, we’re taking extra measures to ensure our facility is safe and healthy. This includes multiple daily cleanings of all kiosks, door handles, rails, restrooms, 3D glasses, and commonly touched surfaces, while also paying extra attention to high traffic areas. CDC-approved disinfectants and cleaning agents are used to thoroughly sanitize all of these surfaces and items.

We encourage all employees, volunteers, and guests to use common sense practices to maintain a healthy environment, such as washing hands regularly, using hand sanitizer, practicing appropriate social distancing, and staying home if they are sick.

We understand that many would prefer to see the Discovery Center open now.  This is also our desire.  However, we are taking full advantage of this temporary closure with updates to the facility as well as a few exhibits.  In addition, we are reworking a few processes that we hope will make the guest experience more fruitful once we reopen.

Refund Policy
